23.02.10 - 01.03.10 : Mels van Zutphen : Fernsehturm 2003 - The restaurant in the Television tower in Berlin Mitte rotates over 360 degrees in 30 minutes. The video-loop 'Fernsehturm' is the registration of one rotation. The camera investigates the static and dynamic elements of the Berlin city-scape in one uninterrupted movement. The intersections between the windows in the restaurant create a hypnotizing visual interpunction. The result is a multi-layered meditative contemplation on the city.
